Acceptable use

Photographs of socks, laid flat, that you own or are entitled to photograph. That is the whole permitted set.

Do not upload:

• Anything containing a person. No socks being worn, no feet, no legs, no hands, no faces, no reflections of anyone. Uploads that appear to contain a person are refused and are not stored.
• Photographs of anyone else’s property taken without permission.
• Images you do not hold the rights to.
• Anything unlawful, or anything that infringes someone’s intellectual property, privacy or image rights.
• Sexual content of any kind, and above all any content involving a minor. Suspected child sexual abuse material is reported to the appropriate authorities.
• Anything designed to harass, defame or threaten a person.
• Malware, or files crafted to attack the service or its users.

Plans you produce are yours. Do not present them as something they are not:

• Do not describe the output as styling advice, a professional opinion, an appraisal, a valuation, or a statement about a person’s appearance.
• Do not use the output as an input to any decision about a person’s health, money, employment, housing, insurance, credit or liberty.
• Do not attribute the output to a named individual, brand or manufacturer.
• Do not represent yourself as Oddpair or as speaking for it.

• Do not create multiple accounts, or use any other means, to get around the allowance on a plan.
• Do not scrape the service, reverse engineer it, or resell access to it.
• Do not run automated traffic against it beyond documented interfaces, and do not attempt to defeat rate limits or access controls.
• Do not probe, scan or test the security of the service without written permission. Genuine security reports are welcome at support@wbrewin.shop and will not be met with legal action where they are made in good faith.

The service is available worldwide, but it may not be used by anyone who is the subject of sanctions administered by the United Kingdom, the European Union or the United States, or by anyone located in a territory subject to comprehensive sanctions. Payments from such territories cannot be accepted.

You are responsible for complying with the law where you are. Nothing sold here is a controlled good and nothing requires an export licence, but access may be withdrawn where it is necessary to comply with the law.

The response is proportionate to what happened, and in almost every case begins with a message explaining the problem:

1. A written notice, and a reasonable opportunity to put it right.
2. Removal of the offending content.
3. Suspension of the account while it is looked at.
4. Closure of the account.

Where the breach is serious — unlawful content, an attack on the service, content involving a child — the account is suspended immediately and the matter reported where the law requires it.

Where an account is closed for a serious breach, the unused part of a paid period is not refunded. Where an account is closed for a reason that is not your fault, it is. Any decision can be appealed to support@wbrewin.shop and will be looked at by a person.

Nothing here affects your statutory rights. This policy forms part of the terms of service.

To report misuse, unlawful content or a security problem, write to support@wbrewin.shop with enough detail to find it. Reports are read by a person and acknowledged within one working day.
